On May 22, Olivia officially graduated from preschool! Her preschool program had a graduation ceremony in the church sanctuary and the kids worked so hard to prepare for it. They practiced walking down the aisle and singing all of their songs on stage. They sang several of their favorite songs from the year and ended by lining up across the front of the stage to sing, "I Am a Promise". Love that song! I got a little weepy when she walked in to "Pomp and Circumstance" and waved at us. After the ceremony there was a reception in the family center where they made cupcakes for each of the kids with their specific hair color. They got tons of gifts from their teachers: a graduation cup, a graduation bear, pictures from their year in preschool, a Clifford graduation book, a pink bible, and a big laminated piece of construction paper that was signed by each child in the class. They also got to keep their 2008 tassel from the graduation cap.
