Happy Easter!

We all had a wonderful Easter weekend. I sang at the Good Friday services at church and it was such a moving service. Tracy, Ky and Hannah came for the first service and Bud & Kelly came for the second. So glad you were all able to come - it was great to see your faces out there! :)

Today we went to Easter services. After spending a week in Good Friday rehearsals where we had a drama that left off at Jesus' burial it was so nice to go this morning and finally celebrate His resurrection. I felt like I got a small glimpse into the heartache and despair that his followers felt 2000 years ago on the days after He died. Hallelujah! He is Risen!!!

Of course, along with celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Easter Bunny also came to visit this morning. Olivia woke up first (very unusual). I heard her come out of her room and start clapping. I walked out and told her she could wake up Aidan if she wanted. She ran back and told him, "The Easter bunny came, Aidan. RUN!!!"
