Aidan had a fun 3rd birthday. We took cupcakes with Spiderman plates and napkins to daycare where he celebrated with Ms. Totsy. She said that the kids sang "Happy Birthday" to him about nine times. After school he got to go to Home Depot with Dad then we all met for dinner at his favorite restaurant, Pizza Inn. :) After dinner he opened presents from us. He got a Buzz Lightyear swimsuit and towel from us and a Buzz Lightyear shirt. Olivia got him a Spiderman action figure which he loved. He got a card in the mail from G.G. and Papa Robert and several phone calls wishing him a happy birthay, including one from Aunt Wendi, Jack and Miles. Aunt Wendi and Jack sang him a traditional version of "Happy Birthday" while Miles (same age cousin) sang, "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you. You look like a monkey and you smell like one, too!" Aidan thought this was particularly hysterical and coming from Miles made it that much better. Thank you, Aunt Wendi, for these special new lyrics. ;) He has had a great day and is looking forward to a party with his classmates this weekend.
