Magic Kingdom Day 2

Saturday morning we woke up bright and early for breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. Our reservations were set for before the park opens so we got to walk down Main St with very few other people. Really cool way to start the day!!!

Breakfast was super yummy! The kids enjoyed seeing the characters and even joined in a parade around the 100 Acre Woods - which was really just the adults holding up their dark green napkins pretending to be trees - :). Pooh led the parade carrying his big Hunny Pot which he accidentally konked Wendi in the head with!!! Still a great meal. :)

Aidan was first in line to march with Pooh! He ran for the chance!! If you look in the top left corner you'll see Pooh's Hunny Pot. What you can't see is Wendi laughing and rubbing the goose egg she just got on her head.

Next up was Adventureland where we rode the Jungle Cruise and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Beware -- the fake camels spit REAL water at you!!!

Then we hopped on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Jeff was transformed by the experience...

On the way over to Frontierland we ran into Woody and Jessie from Toy Story. Aidan and Olivia decided to go meet them while Jack and Miles headed over to Splash Mountain. Aidan got a case of the giggles and his super fun laugh gave Jessie the giggles too. She kept laughing and then tickling him to make him laugh some more!

Jack and Miles decided to ride Splash Mountain again so we waited for them at a little play area under the mountain. The kids enjoyed some free time to run and we enjoy some time to sit!

After we visited The Haunted Mansion which was a favorite of all the kids one of the Frontierland cast members gave Olivia some pixie dust (an envelope full of Mickey confetti)!

We headed back over to Fantasyland to ride the Teacups. This was my 3rd trip to Magic Kingdom and I had never been on the teacups. I was so excited and it didn't disappoint!!! The ride is actually called the Mad Tea Party and is based on the Alice in Wonderland story. While we were waiting in line the rabbit from the story ("I'm late! I'm late!") surprised some parkgoers and hopped in their teacup with them! The teacups spin around super fast and it was SO fun!!

We went back to Tomorrowland to hit the Buzz ride again then we finally made it back to our rooms. The kids enjoyed just hanging out at the hotel for a while though they were disappointed that it was much too cold to swim. Next day: Epcot!!!
