In order to attempt to see everyone this year we decided to manipulate the home calendar a bit. Today is 12/23 and our Christmas Day. We figured this was probably the last year we could get away with such a thing so we went for it and it's making the season so much easier on us.
Last night was Christmas Eve and the kids got to open their presents from Gamma and Grandpapa. Olivia got a Disney Princess horse and carriage and Aidan got a Woody doll and a Buzz Lightyear. Buzz, Woody, and the Barbies all got along really well. There were some other presents but those were the big hits!
Santa came this morning and left 1/2 the amount of toys as last year and it was still too much! After 4 or 5 presents they're just in overload. The favorites this morning are the Cinderella castle and the Diego Helicopter. I happened to pick up the Diego helicopter last minute at Tom Thumb this week and Aidan is taking it everywhere with him.
Olivia and Aidan both got a nice toy for the car. Olivia though that it would be good for the car because she said, "Sometimes I can't sleep in the car because my forehead won't quit talking to me."
Tomorrow we're off to Sugar and Poppa T's house for Round 2! :)
