On the Second Day of Christmas...

We just returned from Christmas, Round 2, at Sugar and Poppa T's house. Since we had officially already had a visit from Santa, the kids got to have presents delivered by "Bartholomew Hoople, Elf-in-Chief of the After Christmas Delivery Squad". So they still woke up to presents Christmas morning. (Mom's creative idea) Apparently, Aidan was first down the hall and did the Home Alone pose (hands on cheeks/mouth wide open) when he saw all of the many, many presents. Olivia just kept opening presents and saying, "Oh my Goodness!" At 9:00 we had finished opening and decided to have breakfast. While Poppa T played with the kids, Sugar and I went in the kitchen to make pancakes, a job usually reserved for Poppa T (his pancakes are worthy of IHOP!). When Olivia heard what we were doing she YELLS to the other room, "POPPA T!!! Mommy and Sugar think they're going to make pancakes!!!" Needless to say, after we were able to stop laughing Poppa T made the pancakes. And they were WONDERFUL! :)

The kids (and Jeff and I!) had a great time. They had been so excited to go down there. The morning before we left to go to their house Aidan heard me on the phone with Sugar and he grabbed my arm and said, "I can't wait!!!" When he heard we were leaving he said, "That's fantastic!"
