Once Upon a Time

Aidan climbed up on the bed with Olivia yesterday morning and say, "Hi, Olivia, you wanna hear a story about stars?" Then with his hands open like a little book he said, "Once upon a time there were stars." That was it! We were laughing about it with friends and he added to the story to say, "Stars where Baby Jesus was born."

I love hearing the kids talk about the Christmas story and Baby Jesus. It's so sweet.

At Olivia and Aidan's Christmas program from school they sang a song called "Mary Had a Baby Boy". It was to the tune of "Mary Had a Little Lamb". We love it and sing it quite a bit. Here are the words:

Mary had a baby boy, baby boy, baby boy.
Mary had a baby boy and His name is Jesus.

Shepherds came to see him there, see him there, see him there.
Shepherds came to see him there and His name is Jesus.

Joseph loved that little boy, little boy, little boy.
Joseph loved that little boy and His name is Jesus.
